Yesterday, I had a simple idea: shoot a music video for my new track “SLOW IT DOWN.” Nothing crazy. No team. No big production. Just me, my camera, and a message I needed to get out. So I shot it. Edited it. And now it’s live. In less than 24 hours.

Not because I was chasing perfection. But because the idea was sitting there, and time? Time doesn’t wait for any of us.

That’s what this week has been teaching me - again.

We spend so long thinking we need more time. More clarity. More money. More prep. But the truth is: the days are moving regardless. Hours are being spent whether you use them or not. Weeks go by while we’re still talking about the idea. Still tweaking. Still hesitating.

And before you know it, we’re deep into another season, another year, still wondering if now is the right time. It’s mad how quickly the days disappear. One minute it’s Monday, you’re making plans. Next thing you know it’s Sunday, and the thing you said you’d start is still sitting in your notes app.

The right time is always now.

There are ideas you’ve had in your notes for months. Things you’ve talked about for years. And yet, they haven’t moved. Not because they aren’t good. Not because you’re not capable. But because the lie of “later” keeps getting louder.

But here’s what I’m learning: If you don’t move on your vision, life will move past it. If you don’t shape your story, someone else will. If you don’t show up for your dream, it doesn’t wait around for you to feel ready.

And honestly that urgency has become fuel for me.

That’s the spirit of forevafree.*
Not waiting for perfect conditions.
Not needing validation before you go.
Not trying to make it all look polished before you press play.

Just using what you have. And trusting that’s enough to start.

SLOW IT DOWN’s also about how fast time moves. Somehow we’ve all become adults and im sure wondering when did this happen. With my music I really want it to be the soundtrack to our collective lives. If you are into the words I share in this newsletter and how it affects your mindset, then the music should be the reflection of the journey we are all on.

What i’m trying to show with my music is that you can do this independently, be true to who you are and still be successful. My approach to music is very DIY. Currently I don’t have no budget, no manager or no team - just me, you guys and a dream. Would really love your support in building this.
